Open a command window and run the executable. The tool will scan the PS3_GAME directory, verify the EBOOT.BIN , and begin generating the necessary converted files.
The tool scanned the game’s PARAM.SFO and lowered the PS3_SYSTEM_VER from, say, 04.100 (4.10) to 03.550 (3.55). This tricked the console’s LV1 hypervisor into believing the game was written for an older, exploitable firmware.
