Directed by Eli Roth ( Hostel ), the movie follows a group of student activists who travel from New York City to the Amazon rainforest to save a dying tribe. However, their plane crashes in the jungle, and they are soon captured by the very tribe they intended to protect. To their horror, they discover that this tribe practices ritualistic cannibalism.
