Human AML cell lines (MOLM-13, MV4-11, THP-1, and HL-60) were obtained from ATCC. Primary AML blasts were isolated from bone marrow aspirates of newly diagnosed or relapsed AML patients (under IRB-approved protocols) using Ficoll density gradient centrifugation.
