The “try-on haul” has become a dominant genre on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Within this genre, the “No Bra Challenge” — particularly featuring transparent tops — has sparked debate regarding body autonomy, platform censorship, and shifting fashion norms. This paper analyzes how creators navigate visibility, empowerment, and algorithmic risk when participating in this trend. Using a qualitative content analysis of 50 viral videos, we identify recurring themes: intentional ambiguity, aesthetic framing, and audience double standards. Findings suggest that the transparent top serves as a boundary object between lingerie and outerwear, challenging conventional modesty codes.
